Skin Concerns: Dryness, Dehydration
I especially love the night patches as it helps heal those angry red spots and blemishes.
Skin Concerns: Oiliness
I like how incredibly smooth it is. It’s very easy to reapply. I have oily skin and this sunscreen leaves my skin with a matte finish. I have already featured this sunscreen in two of our Tik Tok videos because of how wonderful it is!
Guo Dong | Beauty of Joseon Rice Probiotics Sunscreen
Skin Concerns: Acne
The texture of this sunscreen is watery, and its chemical formula sits very well on skin. The design of the tube makes it very easy to dispense the product–a gentle squeeze is enough to pump out sufficient amounts of sunscreen. The shape of the tube is very travel friendly. I like that the packaging is printed with soy ink and recyclable. This product contains 30% rice extract to soothe and deliver ultra-hydration to skin, giving it a healthy, dewy glow. The biggest plus of all is that there is no white cast even after 3-4 reapplications. It still feels weightless on my skin despite that my skin produces more oil throughout the day.
Melanie | Son and Park Beauty Water
Skin Concerns: Combination
The Son and Park Beauty Water is incredible, and more people need to know about it! The product is suitable for combination (my skin type), and oily skin. It’s a multi-tasking product (cleanses, tones, exfoliates, and moisturizes) which may sound too good to be true, but the product lives up to what they claim! It is efficient to use when I’m feeling tired after work and want to take off my makeup quickly and effectively. Not only can it remove waterproof mascara, but also help prep the skin before makeup. My face feels super clean, smooth, and fresh. This is why I have used over 3 bottles of it.
Kailea | Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel
Skin Concerns: Acne
This is a must-have on my vanity. It's affordable and comes in a generous amount. The gel texture is easy to layer and has a cooling feeling on the skin. I love using this product after dermablading and before applying makeup. It also helps with depuffing skin and relieves sunburns. It gives a supple and glowing base leaving my skin moisturized.
Skin Concerns: Combination, Oiliness, Acne
After years of trying so many different moisturizers that claim to be ‘moisturizing,’ this is the only one that has consistent results regardless of the weather or different layering of products. The Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream is the perfect moisturizer for those trying to repair their skin barrier. After applying this soft textured, non-greasy cream, I was madly in love. I recommend this cream–lotion or gel– to everyone. It keeps my skin feeling very smooth and hydrated throughout the day & night without feeling the need to reapply. I use this throughout the year all over my body, mainly on my face in my night routine. Even though I do not have sensitive skin, I always like to use products for sensitive skin to save me the worry of potentially causing a skin reaction. This cream does exactly that as it is free of numerous harmful ingredients, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and sensitivity panel tested. Once you get your hands on this, you will find yourself coming back to this one all the time!
Brianna | Purito Oat In Calming Gel Cream
Skin Concerns: Oiliness
This is my favorite moisturizer yet! I have oily skin so going into the summer months, it was just natural that I change my thick winter moisturizer to a more lightweight one so my skin would thank me for it. My co-worker recommended Purito's Oat In Calming Gel Cream and I instantly fell in love with it. Its gel formulation is so light and refreshing, while the oat base helps calm my skin. This moisturizer also leaves me with a nice healthy glow! It’s a big plus that it comes in an eco-friendly, recyclable, and paper-based tube. Overall, I’d recommend this moisturizer for anyone with oily, sensitive skin, or anyone who needs a light moisturizer.
P.S. a little goes a long way with this product.
Shirley | Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence
Skin Concerns: Dryness
A skincare product I find myself constantly reaching for is the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence. I find that it nourishes my dry and often dehydrated skin in all seasons of the year – especially winter. I have not been able to find a product that was able to hydrate so deep into my skin layers before the Ginseng Essence. With a mildly thick yet non-sticky texture, the product just sinks into my skin, allowing me to layer any additional serums without feeling like the products are all sitting on my face and not absorbing them. With 2% niacinamide, this essence has also helped to even and brighten my skin tone. This is a must try for those who have the same skin type and want to experience the pleasures of using ginseng in your skincare routine.
Gennesis | Cosrx Propolis Light Ampoule
Skin Concerns: Sensitivity, Acne
I didn’t really think anything would help with my redness and sensitive skin until I tried the Cosrx Propolis Light Ampoule. I was looking for an ampoule that would give me hydration but at the same time calms my skin. This ampoule not only soothed my broken skin barrier but also helped with my red inflamed acne. The main ingredient, Propolis, fights against bacteria and helps the skin heal. It has worked wonders for me. Anyone with sensitive, acne-prone skin would enjoy this product just because of how soothing it is. Whether you have dry, oil, or combination skin, this ampoule would still be the best fit.
Dominique | Tunemakers Undiluted Moisture Lotion
Skin Concerns: Combination, Dehydration, Texture & Seasonal Dermatitis
This to me is unique and undefeated in my skincare arsenal. The blend of honey, licorice root, and collagen always leaves my skin feeling so bouncy, plump, and glowy!
Skin Concerns: Normal
A skincare tool I swear by is Gua Sha! When I watch my favorite Netflix show, I always grab my skincare oil and Gua Sha. The feeling of it gliding over my skin is very calming. As it slides across my cheeks, I can feel the tension being released from my face, stimulating blood flow. It is an amazing tool to use a couple of times a week before bed to help me relax. Using a Gua Sha helps with my puffiness and lymphatic drainage while lifting and shaping the face. Just a friendly reminder, when using a Gua Sha, try not to put too much pressure on your face. Using it incorrectly can do more harm than good. If you’re a beginner getting into Gua Sha, I suggest watching a YouTube video created by a professional on how to use Gua Sha. Overall, I definitely recommend adding it to your routine for health benefits.
Skin Concerns: Acne, Dryness, Sensitivity
I have already purchased four bottles of this serum. That's how good it is. I use this serum every day in my routine and without it, my skin experiences more redness and irritation. This serum contains 100% Centella Asiatica extracts to calm my skin and bring my skin back on track. I love the watery consistency because it is easily absorbed into the skin. Definitely a HOLY GRAIL status product for me!
Skin Concerns: Dehydration, Dullness, Premature Skin Aging
I have to say this is the best moisturizer/cream! I have combo, dry and premature skin and this amazing cream just literally locks all the moisture in my skin. Leaving my skin looking glossy and dewy all day! It also improves my overall dullness. This hyaluronic acid base, watery yet silky, works perfectly for summer and winter. If you have dry and premature skin, go for this one!
